The Ile d’Oléron is the biggest French island (off the French coast)
after Corsica. One hour’s drive from La Rochelle and 2 hour’s drive
from Bordeaux, the island can be accessed from the mainland
by a viaduct (free of charge).Click for a plan of Oleron...

Beautifull sandy beaches on the west coast and rocky costline
in the east of the island, forests and marshes all make the island
an ideal place for children and adults or lovers of farniente, fishing,
water sports and natural parks.

The port of La Cotinière is lively all year round thanks to its
traditionnal fishing industry, its fish markets and shops.
